The Old Guard 2 Synopsis:

Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors are back, fueled by a renewed determination in their mission to defend the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile following his betrayal and Quynh (Veronica Ngô) on a quest for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy faces the challenge of her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could threaten everything she has achieved over the centuries.

The Plot:
The plot revolves around Andy's loss of her immortality and enlisting an old friend, Tuah, who may be the key to unlocking the mystery behind immortal existence. The trailer features the return of Quynh and her confrontation with Booker in finding Andy. Discord is the first of the immortals and threatens everything Andy has achieved over the centuries.

New Cast:
The sequel features Uma Thurman as a new mysterious threat named Discord, and Henry Golding also joins the cast as an old friend named Tuah.

Returning Cast:
Charlize Theron (Andy), KiKi Layne (Nile), Veronica Ngô (Quynh), Chiwetel Ejiofor (James Copley), Luca Marinelli (Nicky), and Matthias Schoenaerts (Booker) are back to their original roles, respectively.

New Director:
The prequel was directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, the sequel is directed by Victoria Mahoney, and Gina Prince-Bythewood serves as a producer.
