Superman Synopsis:
Clark Kent's attempts to navigate his dual life as a cub reporter and the world's most powerful superhero are complicated by his growing relationship with Lois Lane and his encounters with fellow superheroes like Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, and Metamorpho. Meanwhile, Superman faces public scrutiny for intervening in a global conflict. Lex Luthor aimed to discredit Superman and unleashed a clone named Ultraman to fight Superman. Ultimately, Superman tries to be a symbol of hope and kindness in a world that may not always appreciate it.

Will Reeve Cameo:
Will Reeve, the son of Christopher Reeve (1978 Superman), has a cameo in the film, and he will appear as a TV news reporter. In real life, Will Reeve is a television correspondent for ABC News.
Nathan Fillion Appearance:
This is the seventh time Nathan Fillion has appeared in all the films directed by James Gunn because they are longtime friends.
David Corenswet Weight Gain:
According to his personal trainer, David gained 40 lbs of muscle for the role of superman. He went from 200 lbs to 240 lbs, but some of the mass will be shed as he continues to tone up.
Superman Crest Design:
The Superman crest is based on Alex Ross' original design from the "Kingdom Come" miniseries but filled with yellow instead of black. According to James Gunn, the design is made out of real texture rather than inks.
Net Production Budget:
The film reported a net production budget of $255 million with incentives and tax breaks factored in.
