Although the movie is a revenge thriller in its own right, John Wick fans will enjoy the closer look into the lore of this enigmatic ballet academy, which was first introduced in Parabellum and serves as a harsh training facility for the elite assassins.

In the lead role, Ana de Armas excels at capturing both the raw ferocity of the combat scenes and the tangible emotional complexity of Eve's journey. As she sets out on a relentless pursuit for vengeance against those responsible for her family's murder, her performance is an engaging combination of vulnerability and deadly precision. In this high-octane action, Ana De Armas holds her own and is a force to be reckoned with.

Director Len Wiseman, best known for his work on the Underworld franchise, effortlessly combines the signature stylized violence and immersive world-building characteristic of the John Wick series. The action flows smoothly, is creative, and leaves a strong impression, featuring amazing stunts and an attentive approach to visual narrative. Every fight scene is a meticulously planned choreography aligning seamlessly with the central themes of the movie.

Anjelica Huston reprises her role as The Director, bringing a serious yet captivating aura. Ian McShane's Winston and the late, talented Lance Reddick's Charon (in a moving last performance) also made appearances, enhancing the film’s ties to its origins while giving Eve’s journey the space to unfold uniquely.
