After years of exile on Earth with no memory of his past, ordinary civilian Adam Glenn (Nicholas Galitzine) discovers the legendary Power Sword and is transported back to his home planet of Eternia. There, he learns of his royal heritage and the looming threat of the sorcerer Skeletor (Jared Leto), who has already conquered the realm. To protect his family and save the kingdom, Adam must unlock the secrets of Castle Grayskull and embrace his destiny to become He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.

Jared Leto is stepping into the role of the legendary villain Skeletor, and he is bringing a much darker energy to the character than we have seen before. Leto is known for his method acting style, where he stays in character even when he is off camera. Leto is portraying the iconic villain as a terrifying blend of an unhinged sorcerer and a fallen, disfigured member of royalty. This version of Skeletor is a genuine, high-stakes threat who has already achieved his ultimate goal; he has successfully conquered the planet of Eternia.
